The Bursar's Office, or more commonly referred to as the Business Office, is a part of the Office of Business Affairs and performs functions such as campus-wide cashiering, processing transactions related to student accounts receivable billing, check cashing, and administration of MC Institutional Loans, Perkins Loans, and Nursing Loans.

Summer balances will be due by Monday, May 19, 2008. Billing statements for those students who have pre-registered for summer will be mailed around April 21. Fall balances will be due by Friday, August 15, 2008. Billing statements for those who have pre-registered for fall will be mailed around July 1. Your account will also be viewable on Banner Web after the statement mailing date. To determine the amount you need to pay, follow the instructions below.

How will I know how much to pay? To determine the amount to pay, deduct any financial aid you are to receive from your account balance. To get your account balance, go to your 'Account Summary by Term' in Banner Web. To get your financial aid amount, go to your 'Award Payment Schedule'*.

What if I have scholarships or aid that is not showing on my award payment schedule? If you have an outside scholarship from a company, church, etc. or are enrolled in a prepaid tuition assistance program such as MPACT, you must notify the Bursar's Office. You may deduct any aid you are to receive from outside sources from the amount you need to pay. MPACT will pay $148.69 per semester hour.

If you have any other aid that is not reflected on your award payment schedule, you will need to contact the Financial Aid Office.

What methods of payment are accepted? ou may pay your account balance by cash, check, credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Credit card payments can be made through Banner Web. We also offer a monthly payment option for the fall and spring terms. More information may be found by clicking on the Monthly Payment Plan link on this page.

Pertinent account information is sent to students periodically throughout the semester to their MC email address. It is very important to check MC email accounts frequently. If someone other than you is responsible for paying your student account, please forward all information you receive to them.
