Events

• Senior Dinner - The Department's Annual Senior Dinner honoring all Chemistry & Biochemistry's graduating seniors and graduating graduate students will be held at the Capital Club Friday, April 20, 2012.  This event is sponsored by The CATALYSTS group.
• SAACS Spring Picnic - The SAACS Spring Picnic was held on Thursday, April 5, at Lion's Club Park from 4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.   Dr. Selby caught and prepared fish for the event.
• Lab Assistance Dinner - was held at the home of Dr. & Mrs. Bailey on Thursday, March 22, 2012.
• December Graduation - On December 16 the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry had three students receive their Bachelors degree:  Shartirrio McPherson, Ivy Price & LaTorria Sims.  Also on that day the department had four graduate students receive their Masters:  Ganga Sagar Bandari, Ashish Konatham, Hari Kotapati & Zhuoyuan Tang.
• Homecoming 2011 - On October 22, 2011 one of our own Dr. David Magers was named the department's Distinguished Alumnus of the Year.
