Undergraduate Research Symposium

9th Annual Mississippi College - Tougaloo College Undergraduate Research Symposium

The Academic Research Committee (ARC) at Mississippi College (MC) and the Tougaloo Council of Undergraduate Research (TCUR) invite undergraduate students from all colleges and universities across the state involved in any type of research in any academic discipline to join us for the Eighth Annual Mississippi College – Mississippi College Undergraduate Research Symposium.

This year the Symposium will begin on the morning of April 19th on the campus of Tougaloo College. The symposium will conclude that same day with an Awards Ceremony that evening.

The deadline for submitting an abstract is Thursday, March 1, 2012. 

This year awards will be given for both poster and oral presentations in each of the following four categories: Natural Science, Social Science, Humanities and Education.  To be eligible for an award, researchers should submit a three-page summary (extended abstract) of their research to magers@mc.edu in Word, WordPerfect, or PDF format in addition to the regular abstract by March 1st.
