Mississippi College continues to shatter enrollment records with 5,270 students taking classes last fall, a significant gain of 262 students over the 5,008 headcount from just one year ago.
New academic programs, including the physician assistant program; the addition of the MC Flowood Center; and a challenging economy that has prompted more people to return to college to bolster their job skills have all contributed to the impressive growth in enrollment. MC continues to be a top choice for many students seeking an outstanding education in a Christian atmosphere.
“The main reason I came here is because Mississippi College is a Christian university,” says junior Rebekah Way, who enrolled in MC following her graduation from Hinds Community College. “And at MC you definitely get your money’s worth. I love it so far.”
