Program
of Study: Graphic design focuses on creative solutions to problems
in effective visual communication. The programs of study sequentially
develop the skills practived by teh professionals in the field.
Students solve porblems in layout, typography, illustration and
printing while achieving a mastery of the computer as a design tool.
A vital characteristic of the program is the integration of graphic
design, business and communication courses. As a final phase, the
student is assisted in arrangement with an advertising or publication
agency with a structured professional internship.

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) - Total semester hours: 130

The B.A. includes twelve semester hours in a foreign language.)
