Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Computer Science
The student entering this program must have 12 hours of undergraduate
courses in computer science, including CSC 216, and CSC 314.

1 Twelve semester hours of graduate credit in professional education core
courses.
2. Eighteen semester hours of graduate level computer science courses.
Hours chosen in consultation with advisor.
3. In their last semester of enrollment, candidates for the MEd in Computer
Science must take an oral comprehensive examination based upon
course work used to satisfy degree requirements. If applicable, the
oral exam will also include a defense of the thesis. If judged unsatisfactory,
all or part of the oral examination may be retaken once in the following
semester or summer term.
