Credentials: B.S.M.E., Northeastern University; M.S., Colorado State University; Ph.D., Dartmouth College
Work before MC: Dr. Curtis came to Mississippi College after a 31 year career as a researcher for the U.S. Army. During that period of time, he conducted independent research in the general areas of thermal and radar signatures of terrain and man-made structures; dynamic loading of buried structures; and the dielectric properties of soils.

David Durham
Adjunct Instructor of Physics
Credentials: B.S. Physics, Georiga Tech; M.S., University of Tennessee; Ph.D., University of Tennessee
Work before MC: After a one year teaching appointment at Auburn University, Dr. Durham joined the faculty at Hinds Community College in 1970 as an instructor and Chairman of the Division of Science and Mathematics. In 1982 he became an Academic Dean at Hinds, and in 1996 he became the Dean of Information Technology. He retired in 2004 from that position but continues to work part time in an administrative capacity.
