Rush is a great time to meet a lot of girls your own age, as well as upperclassmen who are members of a social tribe. The rush system is meant to be a positive experience for every participant-we want it to be a fun few weeks making new friends and finding your place within a great social network at MC.

Nenamoosha works hard on rush, and we are all looking forward to getting to know you!

New Students Move in the Dorms

Just wait until you pull up to your new home.  MC's tribe members will help you unload and move into your room!
 
 

General Rush

The first official Rush activity.  Meet the tribes, learn all about the upcoming Rush events, as well as the rules and regulations for becoming a part of a tribe at MC.
 
 

Coke Party

Each tribe will invite you to mix and mingle with their members at a party in your honor.  This a great time to meet members personally, ask any questions, take a look at scrapbooks, photos, and t-shirts, and get an overall feel for the tribe.
 
 

Rush Skit

Get ready to be entertained!  Each tribe has been working tirelessly since last spring on a skit to make you laugh and have lots of FUN!!  Skits are a great time to get a feel for the personality of each tribe.
 
 

Meet and Greet

This is a night when tribe actives hang out in their rooms and all pledges have a chance to drop by and meet them, ask questions, and get their Pref cards signed.  Don't miss out on the potential information and relationships you could gain tonight--PREF day is tomorrow!
 
 

PREF Day

Time's up....Today is the day you make your decision as to which tribe you'd most like to join.  All rushees are given the opportunity to fill out a pref card ranking the tribes in the order you prefer being a member.  Don't worry though--everything always works out for the best!

Squeal Night

That's right, all of us in NT expect to hear lots of squeals tonight because 60 or so of you rushees will become new NEENIES!  We can't wait to celebrate and welcome you to your new family!

After Squeal Night, our rushees will become Nenamoosha pledges.  We will have plenty of pledge activities to keep you busy until our pinning ceremony.  Pinning is the time at which you become an active member of NT.
