Nenamoosha's sponsor is Dr. Cindy Melton. She was selected in the spring of 2002 to succeed Dr. and Mrs. George Pittman, NT sponsors for 25 years. We love Dr. Melton and are excited about her leadership in our tribe for years to come. We can count on our sponsor to attend various meetings and social events, and we appreciate her role as mentor and adult example.

Dr. Melton is a professor of Education at Mississippi College, and is also an alumnus. She recently completed her doctorate degree in Education from the University of Mississippi.  She is married to Derek Melton. They have two children Cameron, 5 years old, Caeley, 3 years old.
