The Mississippi College Community Service Center Tutoring The tutoring program at MC is designed to match college volunteers with local elementary children for individualized tutoring in reading.  Each child meets with his or her tutor twice a week for thirty minute sessions.  MC is currently partnered with Northside Elementary (grades 2-3) and Eastside Elementary (grades 4-5) Schools in Clinton.  This partnership is a primary focus of the MC Service Center.  At Mississippi College, the program has been underway since Spring of 1998.
