Agency Description: The Baptist Children’s Village cares for children ages 4 to 18 years old. It provides a safe, caring environment for children from hurting families.They also have a program for single mothers and a program for counseling the whole family
Volunteer Description: Volunteers will assist in recreational programs, tutoring, and maintenance/grounds keeping duties. They will also interact with children on the playground, in the gymnasium, during worship services, and in tutoring situations. Group projects to improve playground facilities, conduct "Fair Days", Harvest Festival, etc. can be planned. Volunteers must be at least twenty years of age and will be screened by the Volunteer Coordinator. Children enter the Village on a completely confidential basis, and volunteers are reminded to diligently protect that confidentiality.
Days and Times Volunteers Needed:
Any volunteer can be used between 8:30a.m. and
4:30p.m. Monday thru Friday. Tutors are needed 7:00 till 8:30 p.m.
on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
