Agency Description: Clinton Community Christian Corporation is a multiple service agency that addresses the needs of the Clinton community. They offer a strong aftr-school program for children, a meals-on-wheels program for the elderly, a food pantry for the needy, and a thrift store open to all. The Mississippi College Community Service Center enjoys a close working relationship with the Clinton Community Christian Corporation, or the "4C's" as many affectionately term it.
Volunteer Description: Volunteers can assist
with tutoring Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in grades K-3, special programs
where volunteers can help with food shelving and repairs and help with
the thrift store. Volunteers are particularly needed to work with
elementary children in the after-school program. They may also work
in the thrift store, sorting donations or running the cash register.
Special projects to address needs are often needed. In particular,
the food pantry must be constantly replinished, and canned food drives
are a great way to address this vital need.
Days and Times Volunteers Needed:
Tutoring - Mon., Tues., and Wed. 3:30 - 4:45
Thrift Store - Monday thru Friday 9:00-5:00
Saturday 9:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.
