Agency Description: Habitat for Humanity builds homes for families in need. Families pay for the home and property with a no-interest, very low monthly mortgage payments.  Habitat/Metro Jackson builds and remodels homes in the metro Jackson area with the help of volunteer labor and sponsorship from the community, civic and church groups as well as indivuals.

Volunteer Description: Volunteers must be above 15 years of age. No qualifications are necessary.  Safety is foremost on all builds, so dress safely with sturdy boots if possible.

Days and Times Volunteers Needed:
They will work with groups of five or more Tuesday through Friday.  Their primary volunteer schedules are on Saturdays with shifts from 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m. and 1:00p.m.-4:00p.m. Please call to schedule and find a location.
Habitat for Humanity is a wildly successful organization that provides decent affordable housing to those who could not otherwise afford it.  Using donated materials and volunteers, Habitat for Humanity constructs simple, solid homes for families in Jackson, Clinton, and surrounding areas.
