Professional Development Plan
My professional development plan has been divided into four major areas which I feel are valuable assets once they are obtained and mastered. These include written communication, oral communication, group/team communication, and a functional area of knowledge.
Written
Communication
Having completed two courses in English Composition and a course in
Professional Communication Skills, I feel that I have obtained many great
skills that will be beneficial to my future. My goal for my written
communication skills is to master these skills while adding other good skills
and practices along the way. I plan on achieving this goal by:

Oral Communication
My goal for my oral communication is to improve on the speaking skills that I
have already obtained through experience in public speaking. These skills
have been obtained through class speeches, speeches for awards, and other similar
activities. I also plan on improving the interpersonal oral
communications skills that I have obtained through a course in Business
Communication. I plan to further enhance these skills by:

Skills
My goal for my group/team communication skills is to learn balance my influence
in a group or team. I have the tendency to try to take charge and be the
leader in a group most of the time, but I realize that is not always the best
asset to the over all group or team goal. I plan on achieving this goal

My goal for my functional area knowledge is to remain as knowledgeable as
possible with an ever-changing, technological world. I plan to keep
