SWCA Mini-Regional Conference

Important Membership Reminders:

 

  • An “Institutional Membership” recognizes everyone at the member institution as an SWCA member. Once someone at your institution registers for the conference as an SWCA Institutional Member (or if someone at your institution is already an SWCA Institutional Member), the registration cost for tutors at that institution becomes $30 per student, and the registration for other professionals at that institution becomes $50 per professional.

 

  • The registration fee for non-members includes a discounted SWCA membership. The membership includes a one-year subscription to Southern Discourse and voting privileges in the organization. More details are available on the SWCA website.

 

  • By registering for this conference, you automatically become a member of the Mississippi Writing Center Association.

Registration not received by Friday, February 5th, must be completed on-site. Please email swca.msal@gmail.com by no later than Friday, February 5th, if you plan to register on-site, so that we may include you in our meal count.

Meals: Note that all registration options include dinner Friday evening and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Please email swca.msal@gmail.com if you have a special dietary request.

 

Accommodations: A block of rooms has been reserved for Friday night at Clinton’s Comfort Inn and Suites. Mention the conference when reserving a room to receive a Friday night rate of $99 plus tax. The hotel’s telephone number is 601-925-8250.
