Shelley
Smith Huskey joined the Computational Chemistry Group as a graduate student in May 2002.
Shelley received her Associate of Arts degree at Copiah-Lincoln Community College in 1996
and her B.S. in Chemistry from Mississippi College in 1998. She taught Chemistry, Physics, AP Chemistry,
and AP Physics at Brookhaven High School from 1998-2001. She then
taught Chemistry and Physics and sponsored the Dance Team at Madison Central
High School from 2001-2003. Shelley completed her Masters of Combined Sciences Degree with an emphasis in chemistry
and a minor in physics from Mississippi College in May of 2004. She is currently an instructor of General
and Organic Chemistry at her alma mater, Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
Shelley and her husband, Scott, live in Byram. In her spare time, Shelley
enjoys cooking, dancing, singing, and playing the piano for her church.
