William Hewitt graduated with a B.S. in
Chemistry from Mississippi College in 1997 and later from the University
of Mississippi's Medical Center in 2001. He then completed an internship
at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. In July, 2005, Will was appointed
chief resident in neurology at Emory. In September of 2002, he married
Jocelyn Chernetz of Baton Rouge, LA, who recently completed her residency in
internal medicine at Emory. Jocelyn is planning to take a year off to be
a mom as they are expecting their first child, a son, in August. Will
has also accepted a fellowship at Emory in clinical neurophysiology for the
year starting in July, 2005.
