Jennifer McGill, Director of Career Services
In the summer of 2011, Jennifer and her husband Shawn were called to Mississippi to work at a local church in Ridgeland, MS, where they serve as the Young Life pastors.
Jennifer is a native of Arkansas. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Science in College Student Personnel from Arkansas Tech University, Jennifer went on to work in the Oil and Gas Industry for a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation for 3 years, doing legal research and handling land title issues. Jennifer also worked for Student Support Services, a Federal TRiO program, at Arkansas Tech University. As Director of the Career Services department, Jennifer meets with students and directs and leads on campus Career Services events, as well as gives the overall vision and leadership for the department.

Daniel Mortimer, Assistant Director of Career Services
Daniel made his first move to Mississippi College when he began here as a student in fall of 2006 after being a long time resident of Picayune, MS. After gaining a Bachelor of Science in Biology Medical Sciences in 2010 , he began working for the university as an Admissions Counselor, recruiting for the university, counseling prospective students, and cultivating relationships with guidance counselors. In 2012, he received an English Language Learner certificate. He is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration. Daniel is excited about continuing his career in higher education as the Assistant Director of Career Services. His daily duties will include meeting with students for resume reviews or career/interview coaching, and he will assist the Director with all campus Career Services events.
Daniel and his wife Anna, who is an Admissions Counselor for MC, reside in Clinton.

Julie Kerr, Student Life Assistant to Career Services
On July 1, 2013 Julie Kerr joined the Mississippi College Residence Life Staff as the new Resident Director in New Women's East and the Career Services team as their Student Life Assistant. Julie finished her undergrad in 2010 at Spring Arbor University in Michigan with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. After completing her degree she spent the following three years serving as a Resident Director at Greenville College in Illinois. During those three years she mentored and worked with college students while pursuing her Masters of Arts in Higher Education through Geneva College in Pennsylvania. Julie will complete her M.A.H.E. in May 2014. As the Student Life Assistant for Career Services, Julie will help students develop their resume's, manage the online job-board, and coordinate and implement the social media strategy for the department.

Ashley Dillard, Student Assistant to Career Services
Ashley is a senior at Mississippi College majoring in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations, and also minoring in Marketing. Ashley is actively involved on campus through Scouts, MC Messengers, PRAM, and Laguna Social Tribe. She attends First Baptist Jackson where she is involved in the College Ministry.
Ashley assists Career Services in the area of marketing the services offered to students and planning events such as Career Day.
