The Office of Career Services is a resource for your student throughout their time at Mississippi College and for up to five years after graduation. We facilitate the career development process by discussing career options, promoting available job opportunities, assisting in the refinement of resumes and cover letters, and providing interview coaching as well as job search guidance. Career Services professionals are available by appointment by calling 601.925.3901. Additionally, we offer events throughout the year, including Career Day and Networking Workshop, to assist students with their career development. Click here for a full list of upcoming events.

Your Role as a Parent

• Understand that your son’s or daughter’s career decision is just that – a decision to be made by your son or daughter. Remind them to use the MC Career Services resources.
• Recognize that career planning is a process in self-exploration and be available to provide support with an open mind throughout this process.
• Encourage your student to contact Career Services early in and throughout their academic career and to become involved in campus and community activities that are related to their career path
