Mississippi College

NOTE:  There is only one official graduation date each semester,  no matter when the commencement exercise is held.  University policy has set the date which coincides with the undergraduate commencement as the official date, and it is considered the date degrees were awarded. This date appears on ALL diplomas. For Summer 2015, the official date is August 1, 2015.

If you participate in commencement exercises, you will receive your diploma after you leave the stage.

If you are unable to participate in commencement exercises, your diploma will be shipped by certified mail to the address you provided in your online degree application.  NOTE: Someone must sign for the diploma when it is delivered.  If no one is available, the postal carrier will leave a notice that you have a package to be picked up at the post office.  If the package is not claimed within a week or two, it will be returned to the Registrar's Office.

If you had a balance in the Business Office at the time of graduation, a hold will be placed on your diploma and it will be held until your student account is cleared.  It is the responsibility of the graduate to contact the Registrar's Office and make arrangements to receive the diploma when the balance is paid.
