Microsoft Home Use Program
The Microsoft Home Use Program (HUP) allows current Mississippi College faculty and staff to work at home with the same Microsoft products they use at the office. Through HUP, faculty and staff can purchase a single licensed copy of one of the following Office products for a fee of $9.95 for a downloadable version. A DVD backup copy can also be purchased for an additional $12.

- Office 2008 for Mac
This is a terrific program that many faculty and staff may wish to participate in. However, please be aware that the entire process (ordering, payment, shipping, etc.) is a transaction between the participant and Microsoft. Support for the program and products is handled directly through Microsoft. The temporary license offered through the Home Use Program for Microsoft Office programs is valid as long as the employee is employed by Mississippi College. If an employee leaves the company for any reason, he or she should discontinue use of the software.
Those who wish to take advantage of HUP should contact Karen Hearn (ext. 3939) in Computer Services. She will provide the employee with a program code that is required to complete the order. Note: This program code is assigned to our organization for our sole use in accessing this site. You may not share this number with anyone outside our organization.
