About Me
I have been teaching art at Mississippi College since 1997. Before that time I taught art in a variety of K-12 and higher education settings. I hold three degrees in art education including a B.S. from Arkansas State University, an M.A.Ed. from the University of Georgia, and a Ph.D. from the University of North Texas. These experiences allowed me to gain knowlege, understanding, and practice in not only classrooms, but also art museums. Here at Mississippi College I coordinate the art education program which includes supervising our student teachers. In the art department I also teach the research classes and work with our graduate students to help them achieve their degree goals.
