Per the MC Catalog, faculty members have the right to require graduating senior students to take final exams for courses in which they are enrolled.  Please understand that each course I teach is valued at 1000 points and the final exam for a given course generally ranges from 100 points to 300 points (1 - 3 letter grades).  I do not require seniors to take my final exams; BUT, due to the point system, no senior is "exempt" from (a) final exam(s) in my courses - if it is not taken the points are deducted as they are for any other assignment or test.

Tough love is in effect here:

I will not accept you as you are.

Instead, I will show you a vision

of what you could be,

and help you achieve it !!

Dr. Terry Conkle

Welcome to Mississippi College, and the Kinesiology Department!!   I have an open-door policy for students, if I am in my office I am available for tutoring or consultation - and occasional chit-chat.  Drop-in, we can participate in (what Robert Maynard Hutchins called) "The Great Conversation."
