Gary Smith
About Me
Gary Smith is a native of Roanoke Virginia with a Master of Music degree from Mississippi College. He studied classical guitar under Robert Guthrie at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Tx and Elias Barriero at Tulane University in New Orleans, La.He has performed throughout the southeastern United States as well as participating in master classes under Manual Barrueco, Michael Lormar, Jason Vieux as well as studies with Pepe Romero.
Mr. Smith has taught at Milsaps College, Belhaven College, St. Andrews Episcopal School, Jackson Academy in Jackson, MS as well as private students from beginner to advanced.
