Jo Peyregne-Lollar, MSPAS, PA-C
As an Air Force medic and emergency medical technician, I trained alongside doctors, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners at Wilford Hall Medical Center Lackland Air Force Base and Belle Chase Joint Reserve Base. Midlevel medical providers fill the gap to allow for more medical access and a higher quality of care. Mississippi is the last state to recognize the PA profession. Physician Assistant’s must personally take part to educate and develop awareness as to our role in the health care community. Mississippi College is now a pioneer in accomplishing that goal. My passion for the profession lead me here to be a part of this revolution and I am honored to serve amongst my fellow faculty and staff members to foster the next generation of Mississippi Physician Assistants.
