Chair, Professor of Art, ART
Welcome to Summer 2016! I returned from teaching in the London Semester in May and I am eager to begin planning for the fall of 2016. We have a number of Departmental projects to complete by August. I look forward to greeting you at the opening of the fall semester.
Welcome to Mississippi College and the Department of Art. 2016 promises to be an exciting time in the life of our department. Our three new degree programs have been very successful -- the Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Studio Art (BFA) (2011), the Master of Science Degree in Graphic Design (MS) (2014), and the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) Degree in Graphic Design (2012). They join our remaining degrees in art education, graphic design, interior design, and studio art to offer a variety of degree programs to meet your needs. Visit us on our website at art.mc.edu or on Facebook at Mississippi College Department of Art. We will be happy to arrange a tour or help you in any way.
I am a native of Jackson, Mississippi and my wife Vicky is from Carthage. She teaches art at Pearl High School. We have two sons, Matthew and Marshall. I am proud to say that all four of us hold degrees from Mississippi College. My wife and I currently reside in Clinton and attend First Baptist Church of Clinton.
