The Mississippi College logo is the key element in the MC Identity System. The primary logo consists of three parts, which must appear together: the official university seal, the “Mississippi College” word mark and the tagline “A Christian University.” This logo should not be edited in any way, except for resizing. Drop shadows, bevels, and other effects should not be added to the logo.
MC identity must be included on all university-related communications promoting schools, departments, organizations, associations and centers within the university. For example, the MC identity must appear on all printed materials and on the home page of all websites and electronic communications, as well as any other media and promotional materials.
The official logo is designed to retain its characteristics in a variety of applications and sizes. To ensure readability, the logo is to appear no smaller than 2” wide. In order for the logo to stand out from all other information, it is important that the area surrounding the logotype have sufficient clear space. The logo is to be presented in the approved in the blue, black, or reversed/white colors. Logo reproductions should be made only from approved electronic files.
The specific font, letter spacing, proportions and spatial relationships must not be altered when using the Mississippi College logo since all of these elements impact the presentation of the identity.
