Cultural Awareness Week
The Office of Global Education boasts the inaugural Cultural Awareness Week! Through partnerships with the Department of Modern Languages and the Student Government Association, we are excited to showcase the diverse range of cultures we have at Mississippi College. Please contact Andrea Haynes if you have any questions or would like more information.
Friday, March 2, 7pm
International students bring unique cultural backgrounds to Mississippi College, but their artistic talents and skills usually remain hidden. The fifth annual International Festival will give students the chance to share this specific aspect of themselves and their culture with the Mississippi College community. Cultural performances will include instrumental, vocal, and dance exhibitions, as well as a runway show that showcases traditional cultural attire. Afterward, the audience will be invited to a reception involving international food and drink. For more information, or to apply to participate, please visit the International Festival homepage.
