“My freshman year was tough. I was in a new and strange environment, away from family, friends, and comfort. It was also a lonely time. I didn't have a roommate, and my parents weren't there to watch over me and guide me in making the right choices. This was the time to walk with God and develop a personal relationship with Him. I prayed and read and came closer to God as I got to know Him for myself. Being a Christian is not about church and events. It is a journey and we must aim to walk through it with God, on purpose, on a daily basis.”
