
Renowned trial lawyer Dominic Gianna to speak at Mississippi College School of Law
Mississippi College School of Law (MCSOL) is pleased to announce that Dominic Gianna, founding partner of Middleberg Riddle & Gianna with offices in New Orleans, Dallas and Baton Rouge, will address the law school on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in room 151.
Gianna is a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers and a Director of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He has lectured throughout the world in the fields of advocacy, persuasion and trial technique. Thousands of lawyers and other professionals have enjoyed his insightful and entertaining lectures, and his writings, books, programs and seminars have influenced a generation of trial lawyers. As a trial lawyer, Gianna has tried every conceivable kind of case from both sides of the courtroom. His 32 years of experience has been supplemented with stints as an appointed trial judge and Special Master in complex cases, including tobacco class actions.
Gianna holds a masters degree in chemistry, received his law degree from Loyola University School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the law review and has won numerous awards for his contributions to the art of advocacy, including NITA's Keeton award as the best teacher of advocacy in America.
