NEw Scholarship Endowed in honor of alum peter larkin doran

The law firm of Wells Moore Simmons & Hubbard, PLLC of Jackson, Mississippi has endowed a scholarship at the Mississippi College School of Law to honor the late Peter Larkin Doran '8, a member of their firm and a much beloved adjunct professor at the Law School.

The Peter Larkin Doran Memorial Scholarship will be initially endowed in the amount of $20,000 to provide an annual scholarship to a second year student with a connection to Pete’s home state of Louisiana who best represents the character and personality of this gifted attorney.  The recipient will embody the traits of citizenship, a zest for living, and a love of people that Pete so vividly exhibited.
