The April 27-May 1 conference on the Clinton campus is sponsored by the National Association of Hispanic and Latino Studies, Mississippi College and the Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila in Mexico.

It’s an opportunity for professors to submit timely research papers at the meetings, said Mei-Chi Piletz, executive director of MC’s Office of Global Education.

Topics will include healthcare issues, immigration, social media, global initiatives and education.

Student registration costs are $160. Fees are $200 for faculty and staff members.
