MC’s 2012 Fall Preview Days Welcome High School Students and Parents
August 17, 2012
Tailgating, football games and discovering the many organizations on campus are a few of the activities for hundreds of high school students and parents attending Mississippi College’s Fall Preview Days.
Scheduled for September 8 and November 3, visitors will have two opportunities this fall to learn about all things related to life at the Christian university in Clinton.
Activities on September 8 begin with a 1 p.m. check-in at Nelson Hall. The check-in time will be 8 a.m. in the B.C. Rogers Student Center for students and parents going on November 3.
Events on the September 8 schedule include the MC Choctaws 2012 season opener with Webber International at Robinson-Hale Football Stadium. Kickoff is at 6 p.m. Students interested in joining the MC equestrian team are also invited to the squad’s headquarters, Providence Hill Farm. The equestrian team is beginning its sixth season.
At both events, visitors will get the opportunity to meet President Lee Royce, university professors and student leaders. They can also find out about scholarships, attend a class and relish the tailgating fun on the Quad.
November’s visitors are invited to see Mississippi College face American Southwest Conference rival Louisiana College with kickoff set for 1 p.m. that Saturday.
