Mississippi College Alumni Gather in Alabama

Mississippi College alumni in the Montgomery, Ala. area will gather for a brown bag lunch, cookies and fellowship on Thursday April 30.

The 90-minute meeting begins at noon at First Baptist Church's Senior Adult Center at 305 South Perry Street in Alabama's capital city.

The goal for the Montgomery meeting is to discuss the creation of a scholarship for a local student who will attend MC in Clinton.

Lisa Williams of Fulton, Miss., MC's regional alumni associate for North Mississippi, Alabama and other areas, will be among the speakers. Retired MC administrator Doc Quick of Clinton also plans to address the alums.

Baptist-affiliated Mississippi College has more than 30,000 alumni and friends located around the nation. MC maintains similar alumni groups that meet in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Pensacola, Huntsville, Birmingham, Oxford, the Memphis area, and other cities.
