Mississippi College Dedicates Hawk Family Executive Conference Room

November 21, 2008

Mississippi College's School of Business has enjoyed strong support for generations from members of the Hawk family.

In late November, MC leaders showed their appreciation with dedication ceremonies to unveil the Hawk Family Executive Conference Room in Self Hall.

Thomas Hawk, who rose up the ladder with a successful career for three decades with United Parcel Service, is a graduate of the MC School of Business. He began driving a tractor trailer to serve U.P.S. and for years was a successful regional administrator. Hawk, who lives in Pearl and was a football star at Pearl High, was the 2006 Alumnus of the Year for the School of Business.

MC runs in the Hawk family. His son, Damon Hawk, earned a degree from the School of Business in 1996 to follow his father?
