The Blind Side Makes Olde Towne Clinton Debut

Fans of the award-winning movie "The Blind Side" will have lots to cheer about.

Starring Sandra Bullock, whose performance was good enough to land her an Oscar as best actress, the movie tells the story of Michael Oher.

Oher was a homeless and traumatized boy who left the streets of Memphis to become an All-American football player at Ole Miss. The big guy from Tennessee is now a standout on defense with the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL. He's lived up to his billing as a first-round NFL draft pick.

The Mississippi College Student Activities Board is bringing the movie to the streets of Olde Towne Clinton on Friday March 26 at 8 p.m. The movie's performance in the historic part of Clinton figures to be a winner. Popcorn will be served at the outdoor showing on Jefferson Street.

The 2009 movie directed by John Lee Hancock tells how Oher made it to Ole Miss and the NFL with the help of a caring woman and her family. You don't need to be an Ole Miss Rebels fan to love this terrific film!
