Government Relations
The purpose of Government Relations is to build and enhance relationships between Mississippi College
and all levels of government. As the university lobbyist the Vice President for Government Relations
serves as liaison between city, state and federal entities and the University. The Vice President
also informs members of the University community of governmental issues and activities that may be of
interest and/or impact university functions. Seeking external funding and partnerships are also
emphasized, as Mississippi College strives to serve its greater communities by enhancing educational
and programming opportunities.
