The Division of Student Affairs is one of several units which collectively make up the organizational structure of Mississippi College. The purpose of the Division of Student Affairs is primarily threefold. The first is to provide direct and support services to students and the college community which are necessary to support the mission of the institution. Specifically, services are provided in the following functional areas: recruiting and admissions; financial assistance and student employment; residence life; safety, security, and parking enforcement; student activities and development, which include co-curricular programming and support and guidance to students and student groups; intramural athletics; and health services. The second purpose of the Division is to lead in the development and enforcement of behavioral standards among students which are consistent with the ideals of the institution. The third purpose is to partner with other units in seeking to affect students' social, educational, spiritual, and leadership development and thus enhance their college experience.
