STUDY ABROAD PROGRAM
University of Alicante, Spain
Mississippi College offers a program in Spain at the University of
Alicante in the beautiful city of Alicante on the Mediterrannean Coast
("Costa Blanca"). The program is available to M. C. students
during the Fall and Spring semesters and the month of July in the summer.
During the semester program students may receive up to 16 semester
credit hours, and during the summer up to 6 semester credit hours.
Courses are offered from Beginning to Advanced Proficiency Level, and
also in Spanish for Business, Legal Spanish, Spanish Translation, Spanish
Culture and Civilization, Spanish Art, and Spanish History.
Classes are taught by Spanish college professors who are trained
in teaching Spanish as a second language. The University of Alicante
has
22,000 students and is located on a beautiful campus. For more information

Students may choose to live in apartments provided by the University
of Alicante or with host families.
