Jennings
Hall was built in 1908. It was originally used as a men's dorm, and later converted
to a women's dorm. It has been recently renovated to provide classrooms and
office space for English,
Sociology,
History and Foreign
Language.
The
Foreign Language Learning Center, located on the first floor of Jennings Hall,
began operation in the fall of 1998. The FLLC houses a SONY LLC-9000 system
which enables students to work in the twenty-five carrels equipped with audio
cassette recorders and television monitors. The FLLC also contains an area where
students may work with computer software in their target language.
