Art, M.Ed.

The Master of Education in Art offered by the Department of Art in conjunction with the School of Education is a graduate degree combining art education with advanced work in studio art.

The M.Ed. in Art is a 30-hour degree program consisting of approximately 10 courses designed to expand the academic and creative experiences of professional educators while encouraging artistic growth, advanced ideas, and effective procedures.

K-12 teachers can obtain their degree while continuing to teach utilizing our low-residency program. Education and art education courses can be taken online during the school year while studio courses can be attended on campus during the summer.

The entire degree can be earned in as little as 14 months.
