The Master’s in Business Administration online (MBA) degree and traditional, on-site curriculum focus on providing a rigorous curriculum that can help students develop competency in general management skills and become key leaders within the business profession. Designed primarily for working professionals who desire to further their careers, our online MBA courses and on-site programs can prepare students to have an advanced understanding in the areas of accounting, finance, marketing, organizational behavior, economics and statistics.

General MBA

The objective of the Master of Business Administration degree at Mississippi College is to help students develop competency in general management skills and in the key functional areas of business. 

Finance Concentration

The purpose of the MBA with Finance concentration is to provide graduate students with a greater knowledge and understanding in the field of finance. This rigorous curriculum develops competency in the principal areas of finance. 

Accounting Concentration

The MBA with Accounting concentration provides quality accounting skills necessary in today's business environment. The curriculum prepares students for professional careers in the public, private or governmental sector.

Management Information Systems

The MBA with MIS Concentration focuses on the technical skills needed in today’s business world. The curriculum prepares students for professional careers in the areas of information security, operations research/data analysis, or health care. 

JD/MBA

For students interested in both the business and legal professions, MC offers a joint Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degree. Holding both a J.D. and an MBA gives an edge to prospective attorneys whose career plans include work with corporations and partnerships, corporate financing, or transactional work.

While hundreds of students choose MC’s School of Business each year, you’ll still benefit from small class sizes and personal connections with faculty. Our faculty members offer a wealth of professional experience from the business world, with 20 out of 22 also holding a Ph.D. in their field. As part of the MC Experience, our accelerated graduate classes in Business Administration are offered in the evenings or online to accommodate busy work and family schedules.
