But while our beautiful campus is one of our strongest selling points, the spirit of Mississippi College isn’t limited to a physical space. We’d love to meet you through a phone or Facetime call and take you on a virtual tour of our campus.
Whether it's over the phone or online, we’ll answer your questions and do our best to convey the sense of warmth and community that sets MC apart. And when we finally do get to meet in person, we hope it will feel less like an introduction and more like a reunion.
No matter what happens in the world, we are still MC.
And we’re still looking forward to welcoming you.
Not at this time. MC is abiding by the state’s shelter-in-place order. In order to protect our current students, staff, and faculty, we are not currently allowing visitors on campus. We are, however, conducting virtual appointments in lieu of campus visits. Submit a “visit” form at mc.edu/visit to schedule an appointment with your admissions counselor or with a faculty member.
We are currently accepting student copies of transcripts for provisional acceptance. MC understands that some schools may be closed or behind in sending transcripts. We will require an official copy before you attend this fall, but for now, a student copy will allow us to determine your acceptance status and scholarship package.
Contact your admissions counselor, who will work with you individually on a solution. We understand some students may not have easy access to standardized testing in some parts of the country.
Contact your admissions counselor, who will work with you individually to ensure we receive the documents we need.
Your admissions counselor can put you in touch with the department you need. You may also contact the MC main line or email: 601.925.3800 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are evaluating our current orientation schedule and have not made any decisions to date. You will be notified if and when changes are made to our normal orientation schedule.
There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding this global crisis, but as of today, MC fully plans to have our doors open to students this fall.
That said, our students’ health and wellbeing is our utmost priority. We are prepared to offer courses fully online again if need be, but you can be assured you will get the same quality, personal instruction as you would in class.
Great question! We are eager to connect with you through a virtual appointment and will do so however you are comfortable, whether that’s by phone, Zoom, Skype, or Facetime.
You can also connect virtually with your admissions counselor to discuss your college and career goals and how MC can help you reach those goals. Faculty are available and eager to connect with prospective students as well. Your virtual visit will make you even more excited about visiting our beautiful campus in the days to come.

The Fall 2021 application will open in June. If you are on our mailing list, you will receive multiple notices that the application is open for submission.
We will begin hosting normal campus visits and special events as soon as it is safe to do so. Please check back with us regularly for updates. We can’t wait to see you on campus.
MC established a COVID-19 Task Force that has met regularly to determine how MC will protect its students, faculty, and staff and keep them informed as the situation unfolds. For an up-to-date summary of all COVID-19-related changes, see mc.edu/coronavirus.
We will exercise flexibility and work with your student on a case-by-case basis. At this time, if a student cannot obtain official copies of required documents, we will accept student copies of transcripts and test scores for provisional acceptance. We will require official documents to be submitted by the time your student arrives in August so that official acceptance can be confirmed.
We will begin hosting normal campus visits as soon as the government indicates it is safe to do so. Please check back with us regularly for updates.
In the meantime, please consider scheduling a virtual appointment and taking a virtual tour of our campus.
We are currently evaluating our orientation schedule and will be in touch with admitted students once a final decision is made. No matter what format orientation takes, the experience will be designed to fully engage our new students, connect them with faculty and their new peers, and excite them about what’s to come at MC.
Our application is still open and there is still ample opportunity to receive scholarships. Apply here and your admissions counselor will be in touch regarding next steps.
As a starting point, call our main line or send us an email.
