The Quad is a hub for outdoor student activities at Mississippi College, including the annual Lighting of the Quad to celebrate the Christmas season. It's the tree-lined place on the Clinton campus where MC students toss frisbees, play fun football games and converge every fall for tailgating feasts. The central point of the 320-acre Clinton campus, the Quad is always busy when students are walking to classes from morning through evening hours. The grass of the central campus quadrangle reaches such prominent buildings as Provine Chapel, Nelson Hall, Lowrey Hall, Chrestman Hall and Alumni Hall.
