MC Hosts Fall Preview Day

Mississippi College leaders will welcome hundreds of prospective MC students to its Fall Preview Day on Saturday, Nov. 8.

It's an opportunity for high school students and college transfers, their families and friends to learn about what life is like at the 183-year-old college in Clinton. The informal sessions are also geared to provide information on scholarships.

After an 8 a.m. breakfast and check-in at the B.C. Rogers Student Center, President Lee Royce will kick off the day with an address at Anderson Hall.

Admissions counselors, professors, leaders with student organizations, such as the Baptist Student Union and Student Government Association, will be on hand to field questions. There's time for students to attend classes, whether it's history or psychology. Parents are invited to listen to a roundtable discussion led by school administrators.

The day includes an 11:30 a.m. lunch and campus tours. The fall day at Baptist-affiliated MC wraps up with a football game at 1 p.m. with the Choctaws taking on Sul Ross State of Texas at Robinson-Hale Stadium.
