MC Offers Enrichment Class on Health Myths and Alternatives


Topics like modern medicine, health insurance, diets and prescription drugs will be touched on during an enrichment class at Mississippi College.

The MC Office of Continuing Education is offering the class with its central theme on health myths and practical alternatives. Other topics covered will include physicians, surgery, supplements and mass vaccinations. MC sociology professor Wilson L. Thompson, who holds a doctorate, will teach the course starting Thursday February 28th.

Pre-registration is required by February 22.

The course schedule is set for four Thursday evenings, including Feb. 28th, March 7, March 21 and March 28 on the Clinton campus. Each session runs from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. The cost is $85.
