MC Partners in the "Red Carpet Health Fair"

The Mississippi College School of Nursing is pleased to announce it is partnering with the Baptist Healthplex at Mississippi College and the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department to bring the "Red Carpet Health Fair" to Clinton, MS on April 21, 2008. This event will be held from 8 am to 11 am in the Baptist Healthplex at Mississippi College.

This health fair is free to the public and will include information on diabetes, heart health, bone health, men and women's health, financial health, nutrition, exercise, safety, and many other topics. Free health screenings will be available. A free lunch will be provided after the health fair for those individuals that RSVP with the Clinton Parks and Recreation Department at 601.924.6082 by April 16, 2008.

The Red Carpet Health Fair is part of Senior Appreciation Day, and its goal is to increase health awareness of those in attendance. Prevention and screening helps decrease medical costs and has the potential to increase quality of life for individuals. The School of Nursing, the Baptist Healthplex, and Clinton Department of Parks and Recreation invites all adults 50 years and older that live, work, or play in the Clinton community to come to the Red Carpet Health Fair.
