MC School of Law Names New Public Relations Director
Dana Terry
A graduate of Dillard University in New Orleans, Terry received a master's degree in communication from Mississippi College. She is also a graduate of Callaway High School in Jackson.
Terry went to work at the 540-student law school in downtown Jackson on January 5. She previously served as an outreach specialist at the Education Services Foundation in Jackson. The Mississippi-based non-profit corporation provides free college planning services, scholarships and low-cost loans to students. It offers consulting services to financial aid administrators and lenders.
"I am excited about serving as the director of communications/public relations for the Mississippi College School of Law," Terry said. "The atmosphere boasts of dedication, love and MC pride. I am very thankful for the opportunity to join such a wonderful team."
MCSOL began its life as the Jackson School of Law in 1930 and was acquired by Baptist-affiliated Mississippi College in 1975. MC's law school is in the midst of a $6 million campaign to enhance the campus at 151 East Griffith Street. Supporters of the building campaign have included law firms from throughout Mississippi and the South.
