Mississippi College School of Law Hosts Forum on Religion and Politics

A distinguished professor of ethics will be the guest speaker at the Mississippi College School of Law at a forum on politics and religion.

"The Religious Use of Politics: Temptation, Tool or Task," is the title of the colloquium on Monday September 29. The event begins at 11 a.m. at the MCSOL Auditorium. The public is invited.

The speaker is Robin W. Lovin, the Cary Maguire University Professor of Ethics at Southern Methodist University. He previously served as dean of the Perkins School of Theology at SMU in Dallas from 1994 to 2002.

Lovin is a former dean of the Theological School of Drew University in New Jersey from 1991 to 1994 and worked as a professor at the University of Chicago from 1978 until 1991.
