Assistant or Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering

Mississippi College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor position in our undergraduate Electrical Engineering program. The position has a starting date of August 2020, and successful candidates will possess a completed Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering prior to employment. Faculty members are expected to be exceptional instructors, provide quality advising to students, and possess an appreciation for the mission of Mississippi College.

The Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.) program at Mississippi College is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET. Students in the program are provided with an academically rigorous curriculum, a Christian educational experience, accessibility to faculty, and a vast array of extracurricular and service opportunities.

Founded in 1826, Mississippi College is a private, comprehensive, Christian university affiliated with the Mississippi Baptist Convention. Mississippi College seeks faculty and staff who are committed Christians and whose Christian principles are exemplified in daily living.MC offers over 80 undergraduate majors, over 50 graduate programs, and has an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students. The campus is located in Clinton, MS which is about 10 miles west of the capital city of Jackson.
